Memorial Weekend Fun

Posted in Uncategorized at 6:55 am by winz

We headed down to the lake for Memorial Weekend. Matt and Dean took of Thursday night and enjoyed a little bit of relaxing on Friday while they waited for the rest of the gang to arrive. Between Friday night and Sunday morning everyone made an appearance. The water was WAY too choppy for a boat ride so the kids enjoyed some slip-n-slide fun to pass the time. Ronny and Carla and Granny and Pop came up for the fun on Sunday. We enjoyed a big lasagna lunch followed by playing outside and lots of good sweaty fun!

Dean and I loaded up to head back to Dallas after lunch on Monday. We enjoyed getting to have a little break before getting ready for the home stretch of the school year.

Price and Lacy’s Wedding

Our sweet cousin Price got married this weekend. The outdoor wedding was a little on the windy side but otherwise fabulous. Travis and Matt stayed behind to babysit while the original Yeager 5 enjoyed the wedding. It was a great time of reconnecting with family and enjoying our own. Congratulations Price and Lacy!

I love that Roxane and I live in the same city! You would think that we would get to see each other more often but, busy schedules keep us at a once a month commitment! For the month of May we decided to let the boys join us. We had a great dinner at Esparzas in Grapevine followed by cupcakes and ice cream on main street. Oren was nice enough to let Matt drool over his car and give him a lift back home. It is always fun to hang out with Roxy and Oren. I look forward to our next adventure!

What Gets Us Through…

Sometimes we need a little bribery to get us through a shopping trip. Dean LOVES to see Bob the Builder when we go to Wal-Mart. He is completely content sitting with Bob in the Bulldozer. I don’t even have to turn it on. I’m thankful for the little things and a simply entertained little boy!
