Dean’s first owie!
Last Saturday my baby got his first owie! He now has 2 wounds on his foot displaying a battle he lost to the exersaucer. There must be a hidden sharp object on the toy because when I went to take him out of the exersaucer he burst into tears. I couldn’t figure out what had upset my boy so badly until I saw the blood pooling on his foot. I immediately felt terrible! I had caused my baby to get hurt. Luckily Dean was all smiles after some Neosporin and a few good sucks on his paci. I think all is forgiven. Dean still loves his mommy and his exersaucer!

OK, Pops, only because of Grey’s. I agree, get that first owie over with. poor baby boy. Well, it will not be the only one, but you have learned that all will be ok with a little love from mom (and dad).

You should give the exersaucer a look over and file down any rough edges if you can, then you can use clear nailpolish to slick down the filed edge.
It’s always upsetting when you think you caused an owie. But we all do stuff sometimes.
One time we were rushing to get Riana in the car when she was 18mths old and it was pouring rain. I went to put her in the car seat and bumped her head on the entrance to the car door. I was convinced that I gave her brain damage and it took Don like 30 minutes to convince me we didn’t need to take her to the ER. LOL! She didn’t even have a mark but I felt soooooooo bad!
