Impromptu weekend
This past weekend Matt, Dean and I made an impromptu trip to the lake. After a crazy, busy week I really wanted to get away and relax. Matt and I felt that the lake house was the ideal place for a weekend of rest. We decided to leave town at 5:00 Friday afternoon and were packed and working our way down the road by 6:15PM. I was impressed we were able to get everything packed up so quickly.
The lake was exactly what the doctor ordered. We had a great time resting and we managed to have a fair amount of fun too. Layne came up with Logan and Morgan for the afternoon, our neighbor Julie came by with her boys Jake and Zane, and we ate at Livingston’s finest restaurant, Florida’s Kitchen. I am already looking forward to our next trip to paradise. It can’t come soon enough.

He is growing so fast. It seems like yesterday that Honey, Pops, Papa and I were coming to Ft. Worth for Master Dean’s arrival. It also seems like he has been here forever. Only the best is to come. Can’t wait for the future.

I am so proud of you for taking care of yourselves! You deserved your weekend in Paradise! What a treat for Dean to spend time with Morgan and Logan – precious pictures of everyone! My mouth is watering for Florida’s!

You’re Florida’s comments crack me up! I’m lucky enough to get to work in Livingston every single week. Florida’s has the best fried chicken! If you can get past the look and smell of it, the food is surprisingly good. I love looking at Dean’s pics. He is a doll!
