Ski Week in Texas!
For an early birthday present my parents bought Matt and I tickets to come to Texas for the week. Piedmont has a February ski break and we decided to take advantage of the great skiing in South Texas! Matt and I arrived home on Saturday and stayed through the middle of the week. We enjoyed spending time with our families and seeing friends. Morgan and Emma are growing so fast, Matt and I wanted to make sure we spent time helping them remember who their favorite Aunt and Uncle are. Last October one of my best friends, Myra, gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Matt and I were able to make a special trip to Brenham to meet Morgandy. The same day we were able to swing by and see the McReynold’s family. Andrew was delighted to have Matt play in his room and sing along while he played his guitar. Later in the week I visited Whispering Pines and saw all of my old teaching friends. It was nice to be back in the Lone Star state. Matt and I are planning to stay put in the Bay Area for the spring. Our next trip home won’t be until late May or early June in time to see our new nephew! Until then.

OMG! Yall look like such parents! Lindsey looks like such a natural in all of her photos with the kids, and Matt even bathes them! I cannot wait until yall start having kids! Yall are going to make awesome parents!

It was a very very fast, exciting, wonderful few days. Maybe soon you will be close all the time. Love the picture. Life is always busy when you come home, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Can’t wait till May.
