Another Thankful First

Turkey plate!

So, even though I had threatened to boycott the Thanksgiving holiday because I wasn’t in Texas I decided to get out my big girl panties and fix a Thanksgiving dinner. Matt was especially thankful that he didn’t have to eat a bowl of cold cereal on such a calorie driven holiday. It was fun to cook our very own turkey with all the fixings. Maybe a little too fun when you look at the amount of food I managed to cook. We will get to be thankful many times over the next week. =) But, overall today was a great time for Matt and I to enjoy the holiday and spend time reflecting on all the amazing blessings of the past year.

Hey Lindsey, I need your email address so I can pass it on to my pal Tara Driscoll. She works with Carla and is a special education teacher. Her and her Fiance Adam are going to be moving out there to California so that Adam can go to the same school that Matt is going to. Tara has met you a couple of times through me, but she was wanting to connect with you and see if you can help her out in her search for a job over there and maybe show her around just a tad? She wont be moving there until this coming summer, but I figured you have probably scoped out a lot of the schools in the area before making your decision and may be able to help her figure out what would be good/bad/ugly.
Anywho email me at earth_mama2004@yahoo.com if you wouldnt mind chatting with her!

The food looks wonderful. The two of you are really great cooks. Lindsey and Matt yall can make the turkey at Christmas. Infact you can do all the cooking. The way your spread looked there was enough for eveyone. I’m sure there was a very long nap following lunch/dinner. Can’t wait to see ya’ll love, mama y
